A file arrives truncated, a payer changes a column, one version of a claim is counted twice, and every number downstream inherits the error while looking perfectly reasonable. Verified before it counts
Every arriving file is graded on structure, completeness, duplication, and truncation before anything is computed on it. A feed that fails is held, not quietly averaged into your results.
Reproducible by construction
Each run records what it read, which rulebook version it ran, and a fingerprint of the inputs, so a number produced today can be regenerated exactly a year from now.
